Terms and Conditions of Sale

1. Payment

1.1 Payment must be made by bank transfer or credit card in three installments by the dates indicated on the invoice.

1.2 The full balance for the trip must be paid and received by Desa Voyage at least 60 days before the departure date.

1.3 If you book the trip less than 60 days before departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

1.4 If full payment is not received within 60 days prior to departure, we will consider the reservation canceled, release your booking, and retain your deposit.

2. Itineraries and Trip Modifications

2.1 All published itinerary information is accurate at the time of publication. However, changes beyond our control may occur in our travel programs. Desa Voyages will make every effort to inform travelers of any changes but cannot be held responsible for any modifications to the published itineraries.

3. Trip Cancellation

3.1 We reserve the right to cancel any trip at any time before the scheduled departure date for any reason, including, but not limited to, insufficient participation, local weather conditions, or logistical issues that, in our sole judgment, could hinder the operations of your trip. If we cancel your trip for any reason other than force majeure, your sole and exclusive remedy will be a refund of all payments we have received from you as of the cancellation date. The refund issued by Desa Voyages releases us from any further liability related to this cancellation.

3.2 We may make payments to our service providers (hotels, transportation companies, etc.) well before the scheduled departure date. Therefore, if a trip is canceled due to a force majeure event (e.g., war, labor strike, earthquake, flood, or any other cause beyond our control), we will make commercially reasonable efforts to promptly refund the portion of your payments that have not already been forwarded to service providers. Additionally, we will make every reasonable effort to recover and reimburse any payments made to providers, minus any applicable recovery fees. However, we cannot guarantee full recovery of advance payments made to our service providers.

3.3 We are not responsible for any expenses or costs you may have incurred in preparing for, or resulting from, a canceled trip.

3.4 Cancellation by Traveler

  • Cancellation up to 60 days before departure:

    Less than 48 hours after booking: 100% of the deposit will be refunded.

    More than 48 hours after booking: the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancellation between 30 and 59 days before departure: 50% of your payment will be refunded.
  • Cancellation less than 30 days before departure or during the trip: No refund will be issued.

4. Travel Insurance

4.1 We recommend that you obtain, at your own expense, travel insurance covering accidental injury, medical expenses, evacuation and repatriation costs, as well as cancellation fees, loss of belongings, and any other potential expenses, injuries, delays, or inconveniences. Some credit cards may include such coverage. Please check with your bank to confirm the details.

5. Passports / Visas / Vaccinations

5.1 You are responsible for ensuring that you have a valid passport and for obtaining any necessary visas, vaccinations, and preventive medications required for the duration of the trip.

6. Liability Waiver

6.1 By participating in any trip organized by Desa Voyages, you acknowledge and accept that travel inherently involves certain risks, including but not limited to accidents, illness, delays, weather conditions, transportation issues, and other unforeseen events.

6.2 You agree that Desa Voyages, its employees, agents, and subcontractors shall not be held liable for any injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from participation in any trip, except in cases of proven gross negligence or willful misconduct on our part.

6.3 It is your responsibility to ensure that you are medically and physically fit to participate in the activities included in your trip. You should consult a physician prior to departure if necessary.

6.4 Upon arrival on the first
day, you will be required to sign our liability waiver, risk assumption, and
release agreement
